Pocket Trip Terms of Service
Effective date: October 18, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Pocket Trip at https://mytrippocket.com (the “Service”), operated by Soft Signals Lab Inc., incorporated in British Columbia, Canada, with its business address at 6333 Silver Ave, Burnaby, BC V5H 0C3, Canada (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By selecting the option indicating that you agree to these Terms when creating an account, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.
1. Who can use Pocket Trip
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms.
Provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials, and promptly contact support@mytrippocket.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.
2. What Pocket Trip does
Pocket Trip is a personal travel organizer. It lets you enter and organize trip information, including dates, places, booking details, links, and notes.
Pocket Trip is not a travel agency, booking service, travel adviser, or emergency service. We do not sell travel, make or manage reservations, or provide travel recommendations.
Adding a booking to Pocket Trip does not create, confirm, change, or cancel that booking. You must handle those actions directly with the relevant travel provider.
3. Check your travel details
You are responsible for the information you enter and for checking it against your original booking records.
Do not rely on Pocket Trip as your only source for tickets, booking confirmations, flight changes, check-in deadlines, entry requirements, or other important travel information. Keep your original records accessible separately.
Travel providers remain responsible for their services. Questions about a booking, cancellation, refund, schedule change, or travel disruption must be directed to the relevant provider.
4. Free pilot and future paid features
Pocket Trip is currently offered as a free early pilot. There are no payments or subscriptions.
Pilot features may change, contain errors, or experience interruptions. We may add, modify, or discontinue features as the product develops.
If we introduce paid features or subscriptions, we will disclose their prices and applicable billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms before you purchase. These Terms do not authorize us to charge you automatically for a future paid service.
5. Your information and content
You retain ownership of the trip information and other content you submit.
You give us a limited, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, process, and display your content as needed to operate and support Pocket Trip and carry out your instructions. We may permit our service providers to perform those functions on our behalf.
This license does not give us permission to sell your content or use it for advertising. It ends when your content is deleted from our systems, except to the limited extent needed for backup retention, legal obligations, or resolving disputes as described in our Privacy Policy.
You must have the rights or permissions needed to submit content, including information about other travelers.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use Pocket Trip for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
- Upload content that infringes another person’s rights.
- Attempt to access another user’s account or information.
- Introduce malware or interfere with the Service.
- Bypass security controls or access restrictions.
- Use automated access in a way that disrupts the Service or circumvents its limits.
You may report suspected misuse to support@mytrippocket.com.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Accounts and trips are currently private, and Pocket Trip does not offer trip sharing between users. You remain responsible for protecting access to your account and device.
8. Links and third-party services
Your trip entries may contain links to airlines, hotels, booking platforms, or other websites. Those services operate independently and have their own terms and privacy policies.
Storing or displaying a link does not mean that Pocket Trip endorses the linked service or guarantees its information.
9. Pocket Trip intellectual property
We or our licensors own Pocket Trip’s software, branding, design, and other Service materials, excluding your content and third-party materials.
We grant you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the Service for your personal travel organization, subject to these Terms. You receive no ownership rights in the Service.
10. Account closure and suspension
You may stop using Pocket Trip at any time. You can delete trips and entries within the Service and request account deletion by emailing support@mytrippocket.com.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach of these Terms, unlawful activity, a security threat, or a legal requirement. Where reasonably practicable, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue.
If we discontinue the Service, we will give reasonable advance notice where practicable so you can retain your trip information. Immediate action may be necessary for legal or security reasons.
Sections that by their nature should continue after account closure—including ownership, liability, and dispute provisions—will continue to apply.
11. Availability and warranties
We will use reasonable care in providing the Service. However, to the extent permitted by law, Pocket Trip is provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional warranties concerning availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from errors.
We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available or that information will never be lost. Keep separate copies of important travel records.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information you provide, failures of third-party travel services, or use of the Service contrary to these Terms.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost business opportunities arising from use of the Service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without depriving you of mandatory protections available under the laws that apply where you live.
Please contact support@mytrippocket.com about a dispute so we can try to resolve it.
Subject to any mandatory right to bring proceedings elsewhere, disputes will be heard by the courts of British Columbia.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or applicable legal requirements.
For material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect, with reasonable advance notice where practicable. If renewed agreement is required, we will ask you to accept the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to updated Terms, you may stop using the Service and request account deletion.
15. General
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
